Arvidsson's skates were pointing directly at Bernier/the ducks goal literally a half second before he turned completely towards the glass and got hit. If you pause it at .35, Arvidsson's left elbow is pointing at Rinne/the Preds goal. If it was a real boarding hit, shouldn't his left elbow be pointed at the Ducks goal?

I'm not sure what everyone commenting here is looking at. he altered his route to hit him from the side and Arvidsson turned just as he arrived. that late turn is the newest fad in the NHL to avoid being hit at all, but it sometimes bites you in the ass. this time it bit both of them. I'm glad the Preds won, but this is a bs call imo.
The Ducks …. this is the only way they play and it's too bad because they've got some skill. If you can't try to win clean then what is the point? This hit is just one more example.
