Kane, Toews and Conner Murphy to Buffalo for Matthew Savoie…No. 1 picks in 2023 & 2024…and their 2023 2nd Rounder (from Philly)….Toews can still win a faceoff and kill penalties and would take some pressure off Kane home coming…Murphy is much needed physical veteran and he's signed thru 2026 at 4.4 mil….Both teams have the cap space to pull it off.
Kane to Buffalo?
Kane 50% retained for Schneider and a 1st in 23. Rangers are stacked at RD and hawks have a lot of great LHD men coming up but only 2 pretty good RHD. They would have to get a 3rd team involved to retain more salary but I think that’s a fair deal.
Just to let you know, as a die hard hawks fan who watches most hawks game, Kane doesn’t play bad defense. I think that’s been a knock of him that has hung around from when he was younger but Kane l’s game is more well rounded that you give him credit for. The guy is still one of the better players in the world.

YOU forget Kane can reject any deal (destroys any value) presented believe he only wants NYR IMHO he is not worth anything in a trade because we are his only pick. pPay us to take him off your hands rebuilding teams need cap more than anything
No shot stars trade for Kane giving up a 1st Guri, and Borque. That’s a hefty sum to give up for him, I could see that for Timo though
Get him in the Finals and it's money. NY has what 2 or 3 1st round picks. Frick go for it.
