so, let me get this straight, Otts is trading 4 youngsters, of their prospect pool, for a damaged defenseman who hasn't played a full season ever in the NHL (excluding the 56 game season), 68 games was his max season and a 2nd year goaltender. No youngsters coming back from Arizona's pool…. no Cooley, or Geekie, nothing coming back from Arizona's pool of players?? Mr Chychrun has a modified NTC starting next season. Next trade offer…..
The Ottawa proposal was bang on.What Ottawa has to realise is that in order to become competitive they will need to move some of their prospects.And in order to get a trade for a top 4 d man that's young and extremely talented you must pay.Why give up first rounders when they have 5 years plus of prospects.

Vrana has not played his last game in Det unless he gets traded, his game has improved but I agree, it was odd he checked out like that. He will continue to improve.

vejmelka won't go to ottawa during the season if talbot and forsberg are still there. maybe in the offseason when talbot's deal expires.

the last time i looked at a map seattle wasn't in canada.
fwiw, kane has had this issue for the past few years, he says he can play through it. i believe kane put up over 90+ points last season (when his linemates weren't dickinson and athanasiou) with this same nagging injury.
