I remember when I was a young teenager and I was at a Kitchener Rangers game and they were playing against Cairns (Detroit Ambassadors?, OHL) and I had a chance to meet him after the game.
He was gigantic to me. He also gave me his stick, and it was a tree branch in my hand. Nice guy, wouldn’t want him punching me.
