They move on to the trade proposals for Jakob Chychrun that have both Mike and Dave intrigued. They end the podcast looking a proposal for the Chicago Blackhawks that involves 15 pieces including Patrick Kane.

Interesting video. I’d think I’d rather hear each of your top 5-10 trade ideas.
I’m in the camp of “we need more toughness”, I just don’t watch other teams often enough to know who’s good and who’s available. I’m just tired of watching a team that lacks in intimidation and toughness year after year after year. It’s to the point where, if Dubas is resigned and continues his non-masculine, beta males galore, fancy hands and no brute strength approach, I don’t even know if I can keep rooting for the Leafs. I don’t expect every team member to be a tank, we’re obviously stuck with the likes of Matthews, Marner, Nylander and Tavares… which is fine, but they need to be backed up by some tough, decent played pieces. There needs to be balance. 🥋
