will special agent Bergevin in LA provide us with good return ?

Would it be too greedy to ask for their 2023 first? Or is a 2nd more realistic?

obviously not worth Eddy, but I’d love to see us get creative and find a way to get Clarke out of LA.

to clarify- I mean eddy won’t fetch Clarke. poor wording above.

I don’t know if it will be Eddy or maybe Anderson. I just get the feeling we’re going to trade with the Rangers before TDL passes

Trade to edmonton for their first with 50% retained since they might miss the playoffs

I think Eddy is the type of D that Edmonton needs for the playoffs. Bourgault is an intriguing piece but I think LA had some better prospect options to chase.

I know we have some more moving around to do and we’d probably get a nice return for him, but isn’t Edmundson like our last veteran defenseman? Yea we got a great D prospect pool, but I feel like we’d want to keep at least some experience on the blue line

Too difficult to know the return because Edmonson is currently injured. He had to quit a game on a regular play. I believe his back is too bad and Edmonton knows for sure (Laraque told the Oilers). Bergevin and the LA Kings might be in love with Edmonson, let’s see if they can offer their 1st pick. Edmonson would need to come back healthy from the break. If not, I would almost keep him for another year and trade him at the next deadline where we might get a 1st for him if it cannot work this year.
