  1. Rasmussen has been very physical since being called up. Ive seen him flatten a few guys pretty good in last few games. Hes playing very hard

  2. I really want to see Steve Yzerman go with the youth next season with all the possible roster openings! I think that players like Michael Rasmussen, Evgeny Svechnikov, Taro Hirose, Givani Smith and Dennis Cholowski are all ready to cement roster spots for Detroit at the start of the 2021-2022 season. They have definitely put alot of effort in G.R. and their call-ups as well, it's time! I also expect to see Moritz Seider make the Wings full-time at the start of 2021-2022 season. Lukas Raymond, Joe Veleno, Jonatan Berggren and Gustav Lindstrom also will get an excellent opportunity to make the Wings next season! The only veteran players I am open to seeing re-signed are Jonathan Bernier and Bobby Ryan. It's time to pass the torch onto Dylan Larkin, Tyler Bertuzzi, Robbie Fabbri and Anthony Mantha as the new crop of veterans to lead the team. They've been pro's for over 5 years now. If you re-sign Bernier and Bobby Ryan too, there are your additional veteran leaders including Greiss, Dekeyser, and Namestnikov. Neilson could be bought out in the offseason, with Weiss and Zetterberg coming off the books. Detroit will have additional cap space and I hope to see Yzerman serious take advantage of several teams in cap hell acquiring more draft picks after the expansion draft is over. I hope to see Detroit's 2021- 2022 line-up look something like this:

    Bertuzzi Larkin Mantha
    Raymond Veleno Zadina
    Berggren Rasmussen Fabbri
    Svechnikov Namestnikov Ryan
    Smith

    Cholowski Seider
    Djoos Hronek
    Dekeyser Stetcher
    Lindstrom

    Bernier
    Greiss
