  1. Thank you for the honest video. I think there will be another trade but they probably don't have the assets to acquire a Timo Meier unless they included the 2024 or 2025 first rounder you explained the confusion about. I assumed that was the way it would work with the 2024 picked by Kurz confirmed. Meier would be very expensive to extend so I think Lou will be looking for somebody a tier below.

  2. The Islanders should do whatever it take to acquire a top line forward asap. Having Josh Bailey as the third man with Bo and Barzy is just embarrassing. Acquiring that final piece would finally give the isles a legit dangerous top line – something they haven’t had in a very long time. My preference would be Taresenko. I wasn’t for the Isles being buyers this year, but we’ve already sacrificed the future for run right now with the Horvat trade, so they might as well go all the way and make the team into a legit contender.

  3. One small silver lining in all of this is that this massive contract given to Horvat by the Islanders makes the JT Miller contract look not as bad as it did prior to the Horvat trade. Just a little.

  4. We Didn't get enough for Horvat we made this Trade to early, mistakes sighed Miller entered his 30s Bo Horvat only 27 make sense for the canucks

  5. What happened when the Canucks gave their heart and soul to the Islanders it created a situation where their depth of offensive forwards increased dramatically. What happens is when you have more offensive forwards that can't be stopped than the oppositions ability to check them, your scoring depth goes up big time cuz all the lines then become effective and their scoring woes are over, much like the Canucks did this season with all the good forward they acquired. Down the stretch the Canucks will start to see the opposite effect from losing Bo and Mikhey. This is most likely to rear it's ugly head after the new coach bump they are getting right now dies suddenly , probably before the trade deadline is upon us. Isles don't need any more help, they are already good enough as witnessed by their first two games with Bo. They will continue to get better and will be a force to be reckoned with. Their defensive play, goal tending, and now offense is good enough to compete in the playoffs, all they got to do is make it in and the sparks will fly.

  6. Was at UBS last night, place was going nuts. We’ve needed a true goal scorer to play with barzal for years and we’ve finally got one in Bo. Love him already and can’t wait to watch him light it up for years with barzy

  7. There is no way in hell that Kurz is correct. The league run by attorneys would never approve the trade unless they could get Vancouver's agreement. Like it or not Vancouver has a conditional interest in both the 2023 pick and the 2024 pick until one of them has been delivered.

  8. Easiest fix, get rid of jtm. Oh ya, no one wants him cause all the big teams know of his antics. Big teams/smart teams figure it out

  9. I see no reason why the Isles can't make a condition that they will trade their 2023 1st if it is a top 12, and if not, then their 2024 1st. So basically, a clause that is the inverse of the Vancouver trade.

  10. Hi my name is Shahid & this is my case , can I ask you something very important for sure definitely ? Yeah of course actually at this stand point, well I don't own why specifically Actually, I want to ask you question ? I have positive level involvement with my own comment thoughts, including with my own opinion interest in base on detail regardless Horvat situation please explain it to me why Horvat made decision to fast he should take enough time to process it & rethink his own decision which team is Available interest in look forward between the Islanders or Vancouver create new highs If I would be to support trust respect their reporter benefit both side who will need give different logical conversation involvement direction level if I would be Elliott Friedman position their will be no official update official Announcement till noon regardless if Horvat agent will he be perfect fit solution, involve Islanders or Vancouver but unfortunately I would not chose one them to make difference, so I would give Horvat into another team who need to balance work together ingratiate with another General Manager position conversation with Toronto is perfect fit solution create new change that's what I believe in this case.

  11. There’s hope that Vancouver fails so hard as a franchise that they get bought and moved to Hartford or Quebec. Think about how awesome that would be for every hockey fan. So keep your head up. It could happen ❤😊

  12. As an isles fan. It’s been what? Like 10 years we’ve been asking for a 1st line scorer. Ever since the Matt moulson trade we wanted a guy that can fit with Tavares. We were watching the cycle repeat with barzal. I’m just so happy our front office made a blockbuster deal.

As a sidebar, can someone tell me the last time the isles had a real blockbuster trade. Was it the god awful Yashin trade?
