That Wally green ad for anyone watching post game is like a feature film

  2. mbsmilford

I’m torn between keep scoring Filip and if you keep scoring you’re going to cost us a fortune. A fuck it keep scoring son we’ll figure it out. I hope.

  3. NoahBagels

Typical playing down to the opponent kind of game. Take the points, be better on Friday.

  4. SlowVariation8

Didn’t catch the game. How was Panarins play. He got an assist so…

  5. Richardya

Harpur is having issues. I would like a temporary switch of Kakkp to play w Ziba & Panarin. And I need to see Schneider play with KM or RL.

  6. WheresBubba

Wore my Laf jersey at the game tonight and you already know he came through. Points in 5 of the last 6 games +8 you absolutely love to see it. Powerplay still needs work but good win tonight, hammered their ML so my ticket was paid for but -1.5 missed on some tragic shit, LFGR boys keep it rolling

  7. Rangers Win video is coming a bit later tonight.

  8. KingJames_684

Am I glad I was wrong about Chytil. Kids been the best forward on the team for weeks. That trade rumour of Nils, Chytil and a first for Jt miller would look so ugly rn. Thank the nucks they rejected that lol

Take the points and run. We’re still struggling with playing down to our opponents and it’s obvious. Every time we got a two goal lead on them, whether it was in the beginning, middle, or end of the game, we played down to the point where a goal against was almost deserved. Lazy clearing attempts, weak forecheck, poorly made/received passes, more turnovers than a bakery. Vancouver has the worst public perception in the league right now and has done everything it could to make itself seem like a piss-poor team, but at the end of the day they’re still an NHL team, and giving up a lead is way easier than you think (Ask the Devils Monday night).

On a side note, the longer Drury kicks the can down the road on the Chytil contract, the more he’ll wind up getting and the slimmer the chances get of resigning Miller, Lafreniere, and whoever else is worth keeping around (Kravtsov, Gauthier, Halak, or similar budget replacements). Of course, this all revolves around what we do at the deadline.

Please play the 4th line more often. Please. It will be a huge benefit.

After what was one of the emotional games (If you want to call it that) of the year, this was a grindy win. However, going up against the Canucks who should be in the Bedard sweepstakes are still a NHL team. Yes, they are. Just because their rebuilding doesnt make them an easy 2-point night. Anyway, on to the game tonight. Christopher James Kreider climbing up the Rangers all-time list for goals is impressive. Saw his goal coming with that speed. Nice pass from Trocheck. Chytil is still on fire. Dude’s killing it. Laf gets another confidence goal. Also, Kakko picking up the apples lately. Key three apples too.

Power Play looked very ugh tonight. Defensively they were eh. Still, I’d like to see the team forecheck below the goal more when they have a lead late in the third period. Sam made a good quote. “Just when I relax, they take it away.” Haha we’re all with ya Sam. Mika came up with a nice one. Once he gets going, look out. But defensively. Can’t play like that. Especially against playoff teams.

Not much else really. A not pretty win is STILL A WIN. Non pretty wins also happen in the playoffs. But what matters is… Rangers win! 2 points in the bag and they get to hang on to them. Very wait for it, Fugazi to have an 8PM puck drop. Thank goodness it wasnt on tnt.
Again, Rangers win. Keep em coming= more points. Chytil and the Yute Line continue to work their ass off, and Mika keep doing Mika things. Be Clutch. Onto to the Kraken on Friday. God Save the King. Back afta dis.

  12. Ugly fucking win. Just want ONE game where we keep our foot on the gas when we have leads. That game should not have been that close

  13. Jokercard08

Watching that 4th line skate is a warcrime. Holy hell.

Krav, Gaut, and Jones need to be in, enough of this shit.

Games against basement dwellers should not be this close.

  14. jaypeedee1025

a win is a win is a win and it’s another 2 points this ain’t gymnastics you don’t get wins for style points

  15. BabaYaga006

Rangers games are the only time in my life where I legitimately feel bipolar

  16. TotalAnarchy

I’m drunk and not trying to analyze shit the rangers won it was a good night !!

  17. Grouchy-Power-806

Still unsure how that wasn’t icing on that 3rd van goal.

  18. koishroom

ugly win but a win nonetheless! monday was def more fun but i’ll take the two pts and roll with it

    pros:
    – 2 games in and already trouba’s performance is leagues better than some of what we’ve seen pre-asb, love to see it
    – the superior miller got 3 assists, was a hell of a playmaker tonight
    – taco got 2 great assists
    – chytil. need i say more

    cons:
    – pp1. it’s been bad for months, it’s still bad, i am begging you gerard please change it
    – our scratches. why we’re playing *anyone* on the fourth line over kravy and gaut idk but i miss them bad
    – third d line. wish gg would bring jones back up (or hell even put hajek back on) bc harpur’s just not cutting it

overall, i ain’t too mad. hoping we blow the kraken outta the water on friday LFG

  19. FoghornLeghorn99

These 4th liners playing over Gaut and Krav is a fucking crime.

  20. Freddy-Sez

Just watched the full game replay (with rose colored glasses knowing we won) and my take is that the Rangers were awful in the last 10 min of the 3rd but still clearly the better team for the full 60

  21. Fire_Gorton

Got 2 points closer to the playoffs. Didn’t play great outside of the Chytil line.

  22. Livid-Screen2880

Kid line is the only line with chemistry. Everyone knows Kreider and Mika should be paired together–but at the same time, can’t pair Trocheck with Panarin because they have absolutely no chemistry. Chytil and Panarin could work well together (Chytil is a shoot-first type of player which could be great with Panarin’s passing ability) but the kid line is so good together it’s hard to justify breaking them up. Not sure why Drury signed Trocheck for 7 years without first seeing whether he would mesh with Panarin…these lines need to be figured out cause they’re a mess.

  23. IMking121

Starting to get on a roll now. Big shift in mentality following the all-star break. Canucks made multiple pushes tonight and the Rangers answered each time. Big test coming up this weekend too, let’s see some more playoff style hockey!

You know what’s something thats weird that i just noticed? Its weird how like kinda delightful Vesey seems when he’s not on the first line, you know? Like he’s defining playing a little bit better lately but like the expectations are lower so i’m less let down
