Anthony Beauvillier makes his return to Long Island tonight for the first time since being traded. Surely he gets a warm welcome back after eight years with the Islanders organization. Won’t ever forget that he scored one of the biggest goals in franchise history and the last ever at the Coliseum.

If I was at the game, I would certainty give him a warm welcome. Great Beau moments in both those deep playoff runs. Best of luck to him with the nucks

  2. Besides the welcome back tears for Beau, I think Horvat has a monster game against the team that “wouldn’t pay him”.

There was no doubt he’d receive a warm welcome. He had his struggles and he didn’t pan out like we thought he would, but he was an Islander and he gave his heart and soul to this team while he was here.

Gives me chills. Also, guy tossing his kid at :14 is hilarious.

I’m only sad we never figured out a chant for him. Would’ve been a nice sendoff.

  6. I’m a Beau fan. A frustrated Beau fan. I really hope a fresh start will turn him into the player we all wanted to see on a consistent basis.

Good reminder. I’ll be there and give him a 🙌

It was one of the greatest hockey moments I’ve ever had the honor to be present for.

    The Barn was rocking.

I might be wrong but didn’t he get a OT or late game winning goal against the Panthers in the playoffs at Barclays center also ?

I’m going tn, gonna give him a big cheer (and I’m not usually as loud as others at games). Hope they play this moment and any others he had.

One of the biggest goals in franchise history is a bit dramatic. One of the biggest goals since the 90s, sure.
