The goal this year is to make the playoffs at all costs. And ideally not get Boston in the first round. We have a cozy ten point cushion from the wildcard but that can slip fast. Still need to get results while Jack is out – even .500 hockey is good for now

NHL needs to rework their injury reporting requirements. Sucks to not have a clue of when your players will actually play. Devils seem exceptionally bad at giving away info, like with hall or even bastian this year. Hopefully this situation is different.
