ILYA MIKHEYEV SHUT DOWN FOR THE SEASON, LANE PEDERSON CLAIMED OFF WAIVERS

Canucks forward Ilya Mikheyev has been shut down for the remainder of the season. He will undergo surgery next week to repair a partial ACL tear.

As well, forward Lane Pederson was claimed off of waivers by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
