I like how everyone brings up Crosby for every "dirty" play now…I also like how everyone was calling for punishment for Sid but when their own players do it, they just brush it off like they did nothing wrong lmao.
Also watching this game, Sharks fans seem really annoying, and unclassy but i suppose thats how all fans seem in the playoffs, They definitely needed this win after being shutout 2 games in a row by a young and rough team.
Im an oiler fan, it was clearly a heat of the moment play by draisaitl, it's no excuse for him to make such a play, but could you imagine controlling your emotions when your getting a beating like that! That's tough man! Oil put it behind yourselves and get ready for next game.

No one is arguing against this being a penalty, and likely a suspension…Oiler fans included. The thing that pisses the hell out of everyone about Crosby is that he pulls these same cheap shots, and they're "missed" time and time again. Blatant spear to the groin, nothing. A slash obviously hard enough to take off the tip of a guys finger, nothing. Again, not saying this isn't a penalty, but it's only further proof of how far the league is up Crosby and the Pens asses, and the fact that there's an insanely unfair consistensy is what really pisses people off, not being a "hater" as Pens fans like to call it, no one ever said the Pens weren't a talented team…

But I can't help wonder, don't players wear protective athletic cups and supporters to protect their privates? The cups and supporters they make nowadays are so well-designed and protective I'm surprised Tierney got hurt like that.
One of the most impressive dives in NHL history. Drai hardly touched him and he falls like he just got shot. Well that's an experienced team for you. The Sharks saw that the refs were calling everything and they took advantage.
Dirty shot.. lets get that out right off the bat. Having said that, This is out of character for Leon. He's young, first play-off experience & being sardine canned by the Sharks. Watch all the hooks, Jersey grabs, slashes to the stick and gloves & stick lifts he is getting. He's frustrated & responded in the wrong way, he would be the first to admit it. Its really a testament to how the sharks are playing him, shutting him down. Regular season… lets talk 1 game suspension, but lets not talk about it in play-off hockey given his history .
