Nice to see Horvat still complementing his former teammates postgame. It’s strange but he still feels like the captain.
I hate being in this limbo of not being good enough to make the playoffs/not being bad enough to tank properly… 😒
Can I just say – what a game from JT Miller. Great offensively, so strong defensively. Yeah he had one bad turnover but I thought he played so solid. Him and Podz really seem to have some chemistry together, too.

Nice seeing Brock with multiple points in a game.
Why are people excited about 2 points that do nothing but hurt our ability to get better long term
Everyone who is upset we won, keep in mind we need the Islanders to lose too. Canucks having the 6th and 14th pick will be huge for this franchise. Been doing some research into the draft and we will definitely get a really good player at 14. Islanders are tied with Pittsburgh for final wild card spot but have played 5 more games. oof
Looks like a missed a pretty epic game. Damn work lol
We simultaneously hurt and helped our draft position with that win
Beau’s honestly been looking okay, like a slightly better (and faster) version of Pearson. That Powerplay felt great though, I haven’t seen feet moving like that in a long time.
Team tank here, but I can’t hate on that game. The entertainment value on the Bo/Beauvillier story alone, the game itself was fast and full of drama. Two goals for Bo, two for Petey, game winner Beau but that long pass from Bear— I actually thought it was a Hughes pass at first until I saw the replay!!
The tank has plenty of games left so I’m happy
EP40 Willing wins, Miller blocking shots – Horvat was the problem.
(This a joke, please don’t shoot me)
Horvat was the problem 100% not even being sarcastic.
Look at Miller showing off tonight that he was the right one to keep.
I can now say goodbye to Bo. Onward and upward
Good to see us finishing checks.
Did anyone else catch the [goodbye video](https://twitter.com/IslesMSGN/status/1623847113925750786) the Isles put up for Beauvillier?
Love Miller pushing Beauvillier off the bench for the little victory lap
I won’t deny it. I have been extremely hard on JT since the start of the season, but he’s really stepped it up in the last month. I loved what he brought last year, so I really hope he’s getting that form back.
Beauvillier with the GWG against his former team is somehow so poetic.
Love it.
Miller was an absolute beast tonight, Brock looking in vintage Brock, and Garland like the guy we traded for. All three have been playing to their potential since the coaching change. Playoffs are out of reach but at least they’re fun to watch again.
Took some getting used to but I’ll be… Petey-E “AL” Macinnis
Podkolzin was making hella smart reads out there
The only players I thought didn’t play well within their role was Burroughs and Stillman.
Great game for everyone else.
Kuzmenko again with only 12 minutes of ice time. Only a handful of shifts in the second and third periods.
I’m team Tank but I throughly enjoyed that game win or lose.
To anyone who still watches every game; is Beau worth his 4.2 mil cap hit at the moment? Wondering if there’s any chance we flip him for a 2nd or something
Of course I miss the best game of the year… oh well 10 minute highlights here I come
They looked like they were having fun
Loved watching Boeser tonight. Feel like the extra space in the lineup is helping him right now.
I’m really hating this tochett narrative that he’s giving the team an identity…. It’s a coaching bump and that’s it… some guys in the media are acting like Bruce had no clue how to coach a hockey team all of a sudden. Last I checked he’s been exponentially more successful in his career than tochett.
These are pro hockey players… to act like they don’t understand the concept of a defensive system is beyond ignorant…. They all know every system, and this team’s ceiling is going to be a lot lower under Rick than it was under Bruce… which is fine… but tochett isn’t teaching pro hockey players basic fundamentals lol… they all understand how to play systems
Boeser with Pettersson. Imagine if they found their chemistry again like that game against Colorado.
Hey, one can dream right?
Can we still make the playoffs if we go 20 and 10
Boeser’s trade value 📈
sad to see Bo against us now
The Canucks should trade Boeser right now!!! His trade value went way up. It’s a well known fact that GM’s evaluate players solely based on how well they played in their last game.
Am I the the only one who thinks Beaullivier looks like Hamhuis?
Boeser or kuzmenko? Only one has the opportunity to succeed.
How about the fourth line? Di Guissepe/Aman/Lazar seems to be a speedy line with just enough chonk.
