There was a pretty rare penalty call in the Ducks vs Stars game last night, one that I haven’t seen called before. Trevor Zegras steals a stick from Dallas Stars player, Joel Kiviranta and is called for an illegal stick? Have you seen this before?

And just like that Chicago is now six points back, who knows if they'll even manage six more points the rest of the season, but I digress. It did feel good to see better defense, Gibby getting rewarded, McTavish making the kost on the top line and Zegras having a better game (until his obligatory slashing penalty 😂)

There was a play on the Blues one time where Parayko dropped his stick and Taraenko tried to play with it after giving his to parayko.
The problem was, Parayko is 6'6" so he had an illegal extension on his stick, so Tarasenko got a penalty for using it because it was "illegal equipment"
