honestly surprised lambert hasn’t gotten more flack. the defensive regression to me is clearly on him, aho’s the only player that looks like he’s gotten better and everyone else is a lot worse. feels like the group collectively taking a step back is a system issue. they just look like they have really poor defensive structure this year.

Or maybe that’s an overreach and it just needs to not be a Dobson/Romanov pairing.

I got downvoted into oblivion for saying this last time but I’d consider trading high on Dobson. I’m not convinced he has the mind for defense and he’s brutal out there sometimes.
I’d be trying to get Chychrun and Gostisbehere.

The total regression of Dobson was very noticeable last night. I appreciate he occasionally scores. but he gets absolutely trapped in his zone.

Why hasn’t Wotherspoon been playing? I felt he was really solid in just about every game he played. Didn’t think he did anything negative to get pulled out of the lineup.

I dont understand how Aho could be benched but Romanov not. This is the same shit that would happen under Trotz. Some players are evidently ptotected species. With Trotz it was underperforming veterans. With Lambert it is Romanov. He makes mistakes constantly. He constantly fucks up simple zone exits. Aho has played great all season yet made way for Bolduc. I don’t get it.
