  1. Ideally they'd trade Anderson and more for Dubois and likely use part of his salary to sign PLD longterm.

  2. If Dubois is likely to go to another team before becoming a UFA then Habs putting a trade package involving Anderson I would agree with depending where Florida ends up at the end of the season could involve that pick at the draft. After all some players drafted is a gamble but Dubois is a proven point scorer and a good Center opens up the availability of Dach being Center or a winger. Lets be honest a player like Dubois does make line mates better could very well give the Habs 2 good lines which they need to have. I say why not go for him for Anderson if its a trade Winnipeg is willing to do

  3. Dubois is worth maybe 2-3 josh Andersons, however Dubois is a 1yr rental and then he is going to Mtl, so his value is pretty much dead out there. Winnipeg can sign him for another 1yr extension at 8-9mil, and then trade him at the deadline next year to a contender, but that contender will only have him for the playoffs and has a very very small chance at signing him after that, so he becomes that much cheaper. They will still be able to get a late first rounder, and a solid prospect easily. The reason Anderson is worth the same is because whomever trades for, will get him for 3 more seasons and playoffs at a good value $ wise.
Not sure what the Canadiens will do to get him, but i do want him in a Habs Jersey. I hope we can get him at a good price.

  4. Ok, Monahan for a late #1, then that #1, Anderson, and Dvorak for DuBois, as long as he has agreed to a long term Habs deal. Throw in Edmondson, who some think is pretty good but has looked awful. Then resign Monahan during the off season.

  5. Anderson, Harris, Kidney and a 1st for Dubois seem fair for me, but I wonder why everyone wait to make the deal. I know winterpeg would like to push for playoff, but geez if they loose Dubois their team gonna need to think about retool/rebuild on long term. No one want to play for the Jets anyway.

  6. I won't even bother watching this video. I'll save all of you the trouble.

The Jets are either going to sign Pierre-Luc Dubois to a contract extension or they will trade him in the offseason for the best return possible. Either way, the Jets will be fine. They won't just let him walk for nothing.
