Injuries are definitely a killer with Manson helm makar landeskog out.
But with that said, our team is more capable of winning games since most of the team Is back, for whatever reason this team has taken a step back from last season but they are no doubt capable of winning then cup, they just gotta figure shit out and figure it out now before it's too late.
If the team ever gets healthy, they will be a contender at minimum in the west. If they don't get healthy, it doesn't matter if they make the playoffs or not- they won't make any noise. The only thing that's troubling is that they likely won't see a healthy lineup before the trade deadline so they won't know what holes if any there are to get them over the top.
Appreciate you guys keeping the level heads. The fan base is so volatile living and dying with every win and loss. The fact is last year was one of the most dominant cup runs we've ever seen; Avs never even got pushed to an elimination game – think about that. It's not going to be that easy this year, winning the cup is not supposed to be that easy. Avs are fine, they're on track for the playoffs (barring any critical injuries piling up); everyone just needs to relax.
there is no excuse after this one. avs are pretty healthy even missing makar and landy. Do you think they would play like this if they haven't won last year? They just don't look hungry and when game is not going their way they are just … meh… and ride it out. it was at 3:0 this game. usually aj turn off games at that point I won't be losing my free time watching that lol At this point I hope they sneak into the play off spot and maybe win a round get some rest and hope next season will be better. Also I think we will have a little bit different roster next season. We are lucky west is pretty bad in general so we are at first wild card spot.

Offense can't score with that firepower and defense is so bad, goalies are hung out to dry. All 5 goals were errors by the Avs, letting Bolts players do what they want. Nichuskin even scoreed in his own goal.
This team isn't mentally tough, they fold under pressure and Lightning just have a better system.

I want mikko and mak back together. Mikko is taking a backseat when we need him to help drive. Even if it’s only a three headed monster, mikko needs to be producing and not be neutralized as easily
It seems to me that the people around the league who are not wearing pride jerseys for warm ups, in isles case, citing policy of only wearing “nhl made jerseys” or something, is pretty stupid and blatantly not including demographics on their sports stage. I might be a little “woke”, but can you guys discuss this in some form at all so I can gauge whether I’m being dramatic or not lol? If not it’s all good.. Is it comparing apples and oranges if a player or team were to refuse to wear a military jersey because their religion is Buddhism or something that preaches peace? Not that all ppl in the military aren’t peaceful by nature, but what is the deterrent from showing support to a demographic like lgbtq when you similarly can’t define all of its scope of individuals as right or wrong? …well according to certain religions you can, but that shouldn’t have a single stage in American professional sports. It’s hard to watch this deterioration of progress imo. Wish sports weren’t openly full of prejudice is all I’m sayin. Just want there to be some stage to discuss this injustice so there’s a little heat to produce actual change. Needless to say I think religion, in the context of accepting ppl with different perspectives, is deplorable. Hard to support or feel interested in a league that supports people being complicit in violence. Big mad over here
