Least the Leafs came out of a Colombus game with something. Ok yes the Lighting got swept after having a wicked season (equal to the Bruins of this season thus far) That said, a W is a W but since that sweep and the 5OT win in game 1 of the bubble series and that series win, the Lightning have had the CBJ's number… in fact most of the league has had it.

I don’t know what got into Sandin this season, but he seems to be more snarly and he’s been dishing out big hits. I saw the feisty side of him last year, but it’s even more noticeable this season. He reminds me of Nicklas Kronwall, but with a bit more offensive upside. I hope Kronwall is his career trajectory or even better.
You have to admit that was a weak slashing call against Sillinger. Who calls a penalty for an ankle tap asking somebody to go? Ridiculous
My favourite part of the game is that Sammy didn't want to hear the cannon, and he made sure of it.

I wish Sandin would lean into the big hits a bit more. He's got it in his locker, but only really runs someone over like twice a year. He can't exactly become a Jacob Trouba, but he's well capable of laying a hit like that every week
