This descent will go down in history as one of the most daring descents ever made on skis. Following his solo ascent to the summit – without oxygen – Andrzej Bargiel spent the next seven-plus hours getting down from the 8, 611m peak.

Sorry aber das war Scheiße.
the size off this guys balls are bigger than the mtn itself
Tiefschneefahren in Pulver und Bruchharst fand ich als Abfahrtstrainer der Norweger Team B einzig sinnvoll.
Hats off to this lad but that skiing might put others at the risk of an avalanche
This man makes nightmares into reality
It may seem amazing to many or a great feat but I can only say it is a really stupid thing to do.

Pretty irresponsible to risk an avalanche on climbers
9:35 WTF
They should've used k2 skis
"Don't go to your right!". Goes right. Awesome!
Bakwass
This is not k2
Is this a black slope?
Polish power⚡
Is he alive
Polski komentarz widzisz mnie 🧐
The risk:reward ratio here is exactly 0.
Well that was underwhelming.
pretty sure this is more impressive than the guy who fell from space
OMG my balls are squeezing like hell while watching this clip!! you are awesome!!
This is absurd, but just to nitpick a little. Did he consider the safety of people climbing up after him? Was there high risk of causing avalanche doing this? I'm legitimately curious as I don't know much about backcountry skiing especially on a mountain so high. Maybe could have waited for everyone to summit and then went. Either way congrats to him for doing that, just incredible.
Basic
Well done Andrzej, you are a great positive bastard with balls like the Wawel dragon. In the place of those guys who were close to conquering K2, I would drop those backpacks, ice axes, go down and start writing poetry or weaving and quit climbing. Poles – Best of the Best.
This is unbelievable!!!
Pretty boring
In all my years of skiing I've never seen anything like this. Shocking and yet inspiring. Congratulations!
Is this really K2? Lots of liars these days. I guess we will see people sking on the rocks of Hillary steps soon
Dang, Solomon really swooped in there and got the sponsorship
Are the other climbers not pissed that he might cause a massive avalanche/fall of debris ???
The truth remains, that no matter how high you climb a mountain, there's always some gnarly dude on skis or snowboard that passes you from above Lol.
The craziest thing about this is the fact that he can't change his mind and back out, once he commits to the summit. He's got to go down to survive.
There's a huge difference between 'skiing it' and 'getting down on skis'…you got down 🙂
6:22 huge kicker with a perfect landing just begging to be smashed…
If this was a video game, you'd be what they call a 'bot'…why didn't they pick a capable skier 🙁
That’s what you call descending on skis? If you can go full send, technically it isn’t a “ descend on skis “ basically he just hiked down with skis lmao
😱
Best skier ever
You know a video is legendary when it starts at the summit of k2
The point is this drink gives energy not so long ago they even jumped from outer space
He probably used the help of a Sherpa to reach the summit with his gears
