  1. Dustin Brown played his entire career with the franchise for which he captained two Stanley Cup winning teams and gets his jersey retired. Storybook ending for a Kings legend!

  3. As a die hard LA Kings Fan, this is truly a glorious occasion. Over the course of his career he stayed as a King and he indeed was a true leader. He helped the team win the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014. He deserves this great honor and it is indeed a proud night being a Kings fan. Thank you Dustin

Kempe is the first Kings player to score 4 goals in a game since Dustin Brown against the Wild on April 5, 2018. Kempe is the first Kings player to score 3 goals in a period since Dustin Brown against the Wild on March 7, 2020. The hockey gods also honored Dustin Brown through synchronicity of achievement.
