    The crazy contracts to D-Men continues… wow.. Oilers overpaid. Good Pelech signing, important to get him locked up. Dunn might be a sign and trade scenario. 4M little bit more than expected, but not seriously out of whack. Bit surprised Johansson's salary went down by that much, but last season was a disaster for him in MInnesota. Latest hot name in trade talks is Dvorak from Arizona. See where he winds up. Seems a lot of teams have interest, especially the Habs.

    Defence men are the strength of every team in the NHL, there’s always overpayment depending on your position or cap space. Trading away players based on money always leaves you starting over, these GM’s obviously are looking forward and the cap increases knowing the availability of younger players coming through with cheaper contracts. Hard to keep players with these no trade or long term contracts and being a Canadian franchise makes even tougher!

    First off, to you the maker of this video, you talk a bit slower, english isn't my first language, and I like that. Not that is hard to understand you but it has felt like you are in a hurry sometime. With that said, I really think it is sick with all those contracts and millions. 99% of the players are overpaid, they are brilliant athletics but worth the money? Not a chance!! I'm happy that LA resign Clague for that price but the Nurse deal was waaaay to much, Oilers will have a problem down the road. Eichel story is just so sad, Buffalo will make him untradeable because of the asking price because it is too high, we don't know if he can play next season so he might not be moved and he will cry over it but he will get his millions so it will be ok after a while. If they do manage to trade him, I hope it won't be such a high price they want . Hell, ship him to Germany for all I care as long as he stay away from the Kings I'm happy

    McDavid’s offence covers up some glaring defensive weaknesses in Nurse’s game.

    Now the. Pelech deal with my Islanders was huge imo and realistic money wise..one of if not the top defensive defensemen in the league,who can wisely join the rush if needed

    I know players are too greedy these days. Disgusting. Don't get me wrong though. I'm just a firm believer that no matter what skill set a person has no pro athlete is ever worth over 5 million per season. I don't give a damn what anyone else thinks either

    Jack Eichel's Twitter is apparently true now. The tweet that was put out by the guy who called the Jack Eichel account "fake" has recently took down that tweet. So I guess it really is Jack Eichel. The Buffalo Sabres are also following that account.

    I Like these signings altho the Nurse contract seemed a bit excessive IMHO but the Oilers got him locked up for the 8 years.
