  1. Luv to see Luke go on a great Cup run, Win Cup & come back to Van in the offseason. Anyone besides Boston, or Calgary!! A great return I can live with it I guess lol straight 2nd round pick or 3rd with a prospect. I would like to see Luke go to Dallas or Jets

  2. I’m baffled by the way people say only making 850000 a year not big for hockey I guess but hugh in the real world

  3. We need to tank and it would've been great to keep Martin in net as he's been awful this season. But like always, Nucks management/ownership is short-sighted and waives a really bad goalie when we need a really bad goalie in net for the rest of this season.

  4. handshake deal for next few yaers with him, then trade him to to contender for the rest of the year and make good on said handshake deal after FA opens up. His family could stay in Van then. Ya he might have to miss a game or two for the birth of his kid, but his wife wouldnt have to have the stress of moving before or after giving birth. He gets long term stability in a market he likes and Van gets long term assets plus keeping a solid dude who likes it here beyond this season , basically loaning him out for the rest of the year and thats it .

  5. Wouldn’t trade Schenn unless the team trading for him was offering a first round pick…. He’s probably the best value top 6 dman in the league. 250 plus hits at 800k and can slid into almost any top 4 in the NHL in a pinch. While best suited for a bottom pairing role. This player knows his role and comes to play every game! I wouldn’t risk him coming back to resign in Vancouver for less than a first round pick in the return…… it’s worth noting the team getting him would be a contending team offering a pick somewhere in the 25-32 range of the draft.

  6. I hope NJ kicks the tires. D depth would be nice for a playoff push, I don't care for Smith, or maybe NJ and EDM can link up on a deal for Severson since they want a puck moving Dman and Schenn can be the stopgap until Hughes or Nemec.

  7. He is a UFA. Get something for him, let him go on a playoff run, and he can come back if he wants to. Take the best offer.
