Markstrom's heroics can't stave off Lafreniere's OT winner!

Jacob Markstrom makes a tremendous save in overtime against Mika Zibanejad, but can’t recover in time to stop Alexis Lafreniere from putting home the game winner!

  1. Makes like 10 OT losses for the Flames. They suck at 3 vs 3 hockey. This goal definitely on Zadorov-slow reaction

  2. Lafreniere's pass and Zibanejad's one-timer was the real hero of this play. Markstrom got blown out of his own net by that rocket!

  3. KREIDER MUST GO!!!…..He didn't even break a sweat tonight!…Did you see him coming with speed thru the neutral zone like talked to the team about before the game? …Did you see him backcheck or try to play defense? …Did you see him scrum in the corners to help his teammates battle for the puck on the for check or back check?…Do you see him make an effort to gain the puck when it was passed to him wide open ,instead letting them go right past him without trying for it? Did you see him with the puck going into Calgary zone try to split the two defenders with his speed when he had them both beat?…Do you see him make and forward motion with his stick in front of the goal when it was passed to him twice and let it go up his stick without ever trying to push it in twice?…Gallant moved him to a different line 2 games before the break because he was underperforming. Those 2 games I saw KREIDER hustling, banging in the corners, crashing the net and skating like a man possessed skating to the bench out of breath and full of sweat because he had a talking to. Now after the break watch the full replay of Kreider doing basically nothing!…Is he pouting and sticking it back to the coaches and Drury or is he just a PRIMA DONNA?..I've been watching him for part of last year into this year, figure skating around the Ice ,giving up on plays, dumping puck instead of skating them in….Let's face it…he doesn't have the Mocky!..He doesn't like to get hit and would rather turn the puck over. Tonighthe didn't even break a sweat while the rest of the team was drenche from their efforts!.I want to challenge the team , coaches and management to take a look at his working habits during the game ,which are non existent!…He's taking up valuable ice time for hungry young players who have the fire and want to play!

  4. Is it too much to ask that highly compensated hockey players not break their sticks like children having a temper tantrum?

They never used to do that (in case you have not been around too long).
