Damn. Poor Raymond. I hope Vrana can pick up where he left off.

  2. dandiogenes

Obviously not stoked about the trade off but Vrana being back in a winged wheel is a dream.

  3. Genuinely thought Vrana wouldn’t play for us again. Glad to see him back.

This is “hilarious” in the sense that i was Vrana going on IR last season with the shoulder surgery that made it possible for Raymond to start in the NHL. I guess they are even now but kinda funny how we cant have both of them. Like one of them always has to be out for the other to be in.

Damn..glad to see Vrana but doesn’t that mean Raymond’s Injury is more serious than just day to day like Newsy has been saying yeah?

  6. EmperorSuperJesus

Gutted about Lucas being hurt, but I’m beyond elated Jakub is all good to go.

Now is it inappropriate for us to all point and laugh at Funkshow or nah?

  7. Salamangra

I will never forgive you Ben Chiarot for hurting my favorite player. Petty? Yes. But I don’t care.

With Raymond on IR, I’m sure Yzerman takes this one slow. No need to rush him back.

That being said, perhaps we make a move for Kravtsov or some other young forward? If Raymond is going to be out for a bit, it opens up more ice time for guys who otherwise weren’t getting it.

    Hypothetical trade with NYR:
    – Detroit sends: Bertuzzi ($2M retained), Hanas, 2023 2nd rounder (from STL)
    – NYR sends: Kravtsov & Kakko

  9. Raymond on IR means he’s eligible to return Saturday against Seattle. This may just be the “easiest” move right now to get Vrana on the roster.

Pleasantly surprised by this news. If he ends up staying long-term, and this isn’t just a showcase for a trade, then I’ll fully admit I was wrong about the whole situation.

    It’s official! Let’s go Jakub!

  13. Troub313

I imagine they are just taking an abundance of caution with Raymond. It isn’t like we realistically are going to the playoffs.

Pagnottas shit stuck for once lol

Huh…this must be untrue because I recall someone vehemently stating that Vrana would never play another game for the ‘Wings.

  16. Sorry to see Raymond on IR. I hope he has a quick recovery. But I’m stoked that Vrana is back. I hope he’s back with good feelings and not a grudge. I’d love to see him be a part of this team long term.

I’m so excited for V. I wonder if he’ll take Raymond’s spot on the top line to see what he can do (in case this is showcasing for a trade). If not, seems like a great opportunity to put Berggren on the top line

    VRANA!!!!!😇🙏
    RAYMOND!!!!!😢🙏

Happy to be proven wrong on Vrana. Wonder if this is just an opportunity to audition him prior to the trade deadline or if he’s back to stay.

  20. Well this is interesting. Read a bit ago he was saying he was thinking of going to Sweden for a while to get his personal side straight. Now he is back on Wings? Happy if he has worked things out and is ready. Maybe he is good and ready to go. Just hope this is not rushing things because the Wings need him. If he relapses what is the gain?

I hope they throw him on a line with Berger. I feel like they would compliment each other nicely. Maybe with Rass a centre to have a big body out there.
