He made a smart play. Why give up a goal while out of position, when better odds are facing the penalty shot

what happens if he turns around and dislodges the net on the penalty shot as well
It didn't look like he did it on purpose. Not like Patrick Roy, I think, who literally flipped the net down and faced down a penalty shot which he shut down.
In all my years of being a fan, while I knew intentionally dislodging the net was a penalty, I never knew doing so in the final minute was a penalty shot lol
Goalies – have to get penalties too.
As far as im aware it has to be intentional to get a penalty. This was not intentional so wtf stripes
