I’m for making plays but Zucky and Boldly pass out of being open in the slot too much.

Connor Dewar who is the fastest on this team gets fourth line minutes and he has such good hands watch his shorty goals. That was no construction
Boldy has been shooting a lot lately but his shots haven't been hitting the net….
Zucc is a playmaker his instinct is always going to be pass 1st….
They are top 4 in scoring & goals (with Ek & Kirill).
Blame falls on the guys outside top 5 in scoring, not the scorers.
Kinda comes down to roster construction, this is what happens when you build a team with no shooters. The intensity, defense, and chance creation were all solid last night, but every time there was a scoring chance the Wild players would miss the net or put it right into Bob’s chest. Most contender team’s top six are all dudes who can pick corners. The Wild have Kaprizov and Ek to certain extent. Zucc and Freddy have decent shots by they’re pass first guys. Dumba used to be able to shoot but has lost it over the last couple of seasons. Other than that every player on this team has an average to below average shot and bc of that this team is getting what it paid for in its inability to score. I don’t think last night was a terrible game, Wild played their game and came up short against a good panthers team. Schedule doesn’t get easier tho so hopefully they can find a way to put the puck in the net more over these next few games.
Edit: Middleton actually has a pretty good slapper but he rarely shoots. Last night was one of his best games of the season, immense defensively, one of the stronger players at neutral ice, and hit the post late in the game off a slap shot.

they cant control the puck when they have it. poor stick handling and they cant shoot worth a damn. even kirills shooting is well below what he was doing last year. low energy and look out of shape, boldy was barely able to skate last night.
Shoot the puck, anyone who has played this neurotic game has heard the three words over and over from coaches. The other 3 words, hit the net, and you can add a fourth word but then it’s not PG. Hartman, Boldy, my heavens, at least make the goalie make the save. Good game last night, Wild will always give an effort, not converting on the lone breaks was the killer last night. That plus some atrocious officiating were the downfall. Gusty – Jesus, start him on Friday, colorado game may be too taxing but to me, he is the #1 right now…
