I agree with you in affirming Jonathan Drouin as a human being, and it is a valuable service of you to bring that to public attention. But "Jonathan Drouin is the Montreal Canadiens' best forward right now"? Completely insupportable assertion. He has recently become an improved forward. But he is nowhere close to being the Habs' best forward right now–not even in the top five, and compared to the mighty Dach, Drouin is a fourth liner & specialty teams player.
You have let your subjectivity distort your objectivity. Remember, you are a professional commentator and you have standards you must meet to avoid becoming a mere fanboi. You have immense gifts (knowledge, bilingual idiomatic fluency, wit), and I value your insightful content: you have my best wishes.
