Klefbom off the books next year 4.1 million
If there was a 2nd puck on the ice, then yeah this would make more sense.
If a the right 3rd team is paid enough, they will retain some cap.
It’s time for the oilers, who are running out of time, to go all in.

You make a three team deal to offload the contract this year where each team retains 4 million other than sanjose who retains 4.5. With a clause that next year when klefbom is off book you split the difference of his salary to retain 2.05mil from both SJ and “third team” that way they both retain 2.45 mil from SJ and 1.95 from third team while Edmonton pays 8.1 million for Karlsson and perhaps there’s wiggle room depending on the deal u give the third team to get them to keep 3.2 imo but it’s difficult to determine since cap is suppose to go up too
