JAD shines, Pheonix Copley rebounds for the LA Kings in Chicago

The Kings split their two games over the weekend. It was an interesting two games for Kings goalie Pheonix Copley but was he handled properly? Is Quinton Byfield starting to come around and the Kings get some unexpected secondary scoring from JAD PLUS we will crown a King. All that coming up on this edition of Locked on LA Kings.

  1. Byfield’s confidence in last night’s game was evident. Almost had a swagger to his play. I see nothing but good stuff in his future.

  2. I still have no faith in Copley he is going to get destroyed down the stretch and I hope we don't have to go in to the playoffs with him as r number 1 now I hope I am wrong about what I said maybe but and Byfield is still not doing much either Eddie your talking up either little thing he does and I think Copley is not going to last much longer and right now Byfield is showing not much more potential then a 3rd or 4th line center and believe me this hurts me to say but who knows what the next couple of months will bring GKG 👍😎

  3. And valardi being second in goals or points whatever it was u said is brutal for the games he is after missing a few players need to pick it up big time

  4. Nice show. today Eddie……..I am reading a book about Isaac Newton and it seemed like there was some bizarre law of gravity that was holding the team in their own end of that 3rd period in Nashville. It was obvious Nashville would score with the amount of time that our guys let Nashville stay in our zone….not happy about that…..that harkened back to earlier in the season…..

Agreed it seems QB is starting to get confident and things are clicking….let's keep it going guys…..the only thing is that other teams like Edmonton and Calgary are trying and starting to roll……we need to step it up…..we can do it….GKG!.

  5. Copley is # 1 period !!!
Until he “seriously” falters, Quick should only get the nod in a back to back. I’m very pleased Tmac is not playing games with Copleys head. Copley has saved the Kings season this year and is only Kings goalie to earn the # 1 spot !!

  6. Thx again Eddie for your video and xlnt takes on the Kings! You are not a prisoner of the moment but are level headed and insightful. I agree with you on Byfield progressing well & that there is no need to panic about him or about the Kings during this current slump. And while I agree that Copley has not faltered badly, just somewhat so, I strongly believe that Blake will have to get a true #1 goalie either by trade deadline or surely in the summer, if the Kings are to take the next step towards deep run in playoffs. Would love an elite one but a solid #1 might be good enough because the Avs showed it can be done that way.
