Need more than 2 players scoring goals

Simple as that. Can we just fast forward 2 years to when our top prospect pool comes up and we have as much money to spend as everyone else?

    That will be neat

  2. stumpybubba

#BUT REALLY GUYS, THIS ISN’T FLOWERS FAULT AT ALL!

What a shit ass game. Good night.

  3. paultheschmoop

This team sucks, just truly terrible at 5 on 5 hockey

  4. Substantial_Sea

We had over double sog than them, still not enough :(((

  5. towardthesun

Soft goals killed us. 3 goals on 5 shots.

  6. MistahFinch

Why does Boldy have the yips?

Hes playing so well but he won’t shoot.

    He’s so low confidence

  7. Seraphax

All the blame on Fleury. 3 goals on 9 shots… JFC

  8. _LesPaul_

What a hard fought game… the team was grinding for that one.

  9. KaprizFox

I don’t think a million Patrick Kanes would fix this offense

  10. Seabee1893

    Statistical anomaly.

If you were to say that we would limit the Aves to 19 shots, shoot 40+, keep them off the Pp score sheet, and score a PP goal, I’ll bet that we win 90% of those games.

  11. JamesBlonde21

Can’t believe the difference between 3rd at 5-on-5 vs 28th 5-on-5 is FiFi.

  12. ap230094

But honestly, despite having WAYYY more shots on goal, none of our shots evening looked mildly threatening. These guys just can’t fucking figure it out.

  13. gandaalf

Goal scoring in anemic lately. Getting 3+ goals seems like a miracle

  14. expungant

Yeah we can blame Fleury, and Fleury has his share of blame.

But the consistent lack of scoring is inexcusable

  15. Gustavsson should be the #1 goalie until Wallstedt is ready, and if Mean Dean can’t get with that he should be shown the door. Fleury is an old man liability in net.

  16. HemoKhan

Can’t give up 3 goals on 10 shots and expect to win.

Can’t hit 2 on 42 shots and expect to win.

This team is just not a playoff team, much as it hurts to say. I’m not clever enough to say what’s missing but it’s clear something is, and until we get it, we’re going nowhere.

  17. joshj5hawk

I stayed up late for that.

At least I’m currently not working until the 27th. And I get a new laser cutter on Friday. So you know what, fuck ’em. They ain’t bringin’ me down.

  18. This is easily the worst game of the season so far and the lowest point for the Wild since being shutout by Darcy Kuemper and the Arizona Coyotes in 2019. I’ve got nothing more to say, you can’t have success if you can’t win these kind of games. Sure you can’t win them all, but losing them all is a strong sign that you haven’t got what it takes to hoist the cup.

  19. That meme about Fluery and Gus being comparable a few days ago is fucking yogurt by now.

  20. HerbalAndy

Gus 100% saves those first two goals Fluery let in.. and probably the 3rd.

Fluery needs to only play against shitty teams for a while to build some confidence.

Gus needs to start until he needs a rest or he starts playing bad.

  21. Honesty_From_A_POS

For the love of God please build a team for 3-4 years from now and don’t trade for a first round exit this year. I’m begging you lepold

  22. One 5v5 goal isn’t going to cut it but neither is 3 goals on 9 fucking shots. Doubled them up on SOG and pushed the pace the majority of the game. Georgiev had a great game, wish he would’ve let in a dribbler to make up for Flower’s 3.

This homestand was the Wild’s chance to really make up some ground and possibly even pull ahead and they squandered it.

Coaching staffs and front offices have to put the best product they can out on the ice to win games fighting for a playoff spot. Flower isn’t it, Reaves isn’t it, Greenway isn’t it. If there isn’t a relatively big shakeup before Dallas I’ll be a little surprised/disappointed.

  23. responsiblefornothin

Can we sue the NHL for restructuring the cap recapture penalties to specifically fuck us?

  24. fastal_12147

The same guys scored. No one else did. And we lost again. We need changes. We need fresh guys. We need to try something. We can’t just go through the motions the rest of the year. Call someone up. Give them a look, at least. We can always send them back down before ten games if they don’t work out. This constant bullshit of trying to make the current roster work is beyond infuriating.

  25. echelon999

Empty net had a better save percentage then Flower tonight.

  26. _stellapolaris

    My takeaways:

    1. Gus was on a roll and should have played tonight

    2. Boldy can’t seem to hit the net

    3. Fleury let in some brutal goals, yikes for 3 in 9 🤢

    4. Half the team seemed invisible tonight

    5. Sell everyone you can before the deadline
