Six teams in the East fighting for two playoff spots, we are not getting in. Not saying we should tank, but it’s definitely fair to try some different lines and defensive pairings, take some more risks and see what these guys can do before the deadline. I think Pittsburgh and Florida get the wildcards.

on the bright side, DET and BUF have harder schedules… it may be slim, but somehow we still have a shot at playoffs.

Does anyone seriously think at this point tanking is a viable strategy? We are nowhere near as bad as Columbus, Chicago, Arizona, etc who have set out to tank since the beginning.

No way we sniff a low numbered pick unless we trade for it. And at what cost? What’s the point? Drafts are crapshoots. Everyone puts so much faith in them. For every hit there are three times as many misses.

Even if we draft someone out of the annually overhyped and overused phrased “deepest draft class in years” they won’t be making an instant impact.

This fanbase has no patience whatsoever.

Might have had a chance if they fired lambert earlier

Well this sucks. If tanking is not an option, wtf are we doing? We’re not gonna get a draft pick and not gonna make the playoffs. Seems like this is how it’s gonna be for awhile

I feel like Calgary’s hardest opponents should all be Calgary. It seems like they are fighting themselves some games.

I think we play down to our competition, so I’m not overly concerned
