  1. If a player that good at their peak couldn’t win a cup here, then I really don’t know who possibly could.

Need those jerseys to come back.

All I can see is Scott Stevens’ shoulder. Used to listen to those Flyers games on the radio while at work.

Guys, I need to come clean. Growing up and still to this day lindros has always been my favorite player. His grit and skill were, and are still unmatched. As a kid playing peewee ice hockey and roller hockey I always imagined myself as Eric Lindros. I looked up to him and wanted to play just like him. Lindros, leclair and renberg line was arguably one of the best starters in hockey history. Now I’m going to embrace the downvotes and say I’ve been a closeted flyers fan my whole life that will always pull for them. As long as they aren’t playing the rangers.

I wonder when Lindros will finally give a podcast interview on any show. I bet he’s just ghosting everyone when they ask.

Players said they could hear Lindros coming for a check. I read that when he skated his downward force and unique size created a distinct sound from the ice that as a player with his back to him and hearing that had to send chills down your spine.

  7. I think you mean, “honorary Flyer for life” Eric Lindros

I wear 88 in rec and inline.
People who ask why get pointed at an Eric Lindros Google search.

I probably saw him play 75 times. The buzz when he went over the boards for a shift was unlike any other player, you knew something spectacular could happen. He was their best player and their enforcer. He had talentless punks taking runs at him all game long. He dropped the gloves with all comers and I never saw him lose. He was made Captain way too young, Brind’Amour was the clear choice. Lindros took enormous amounts of punishment and was constantly shamed by that idiot Clarke to get back on the ice. Keith Jones saved his life when, after a game they found Lindros semi-conscious in the bathtub – the team wanted to send him back on the team flight in the morning, Jones insisted he be taken to the emergency room that night – collapsed lung and probably wouldn’t have survived the night.

He was and is my favorite player. In my mind he’ll go down in history as a generational talent that was largely wasted by the titanic ego of Bobby Clarke.
