As much as any and everybody else I want to see this W5 become a W6, but if I was forced to pick one of the next two games to lose I would absolutely pick this one. The points against the Kraken are two points just the same as any other, but in my opinion, our upcoming clash with the Caps is ten times as important as this one tonight. A win against the Caps is a 4-point swing against an immediate wild-card rival, those points will be monumental down the stretch. Ideally, we just make it a W7 and put a big, bold double exclam on the month of February, but I would hesitate to hope for perfection.
