The Flames are still using the same system they had when Johnny Hockey and Tkachuk were on the team. Sutter refuses to change up his system to fit the players in the locker room. Huberdeau is obviously frustrated and I'm sure a lot of the other guys in the locker room. Sutter has to go.

Hubie needs an entire off season to adjust to Sutters system just like everyone after he came back to Flames. Hubie playing catch up all season.
Yeah, he got paid to play like a top-liner, but I think it can also be fair to criticize the coaching staff for also failing to get the most out of him. If Sutter is relying on more negative tactics to do so, and hia results are leading to hos team being out of the playoffs, perhaps a change is needed.

my flames are so cringe right now, it's sad to watch. Huberdeau needs to be better and Sutter needs to utilize him in a system that works better not only for him but for the whole team. Every time I watch a game I have to shut it off, it's a fuckin dumpster fire… ugh
Huberdeau needs out of there, asap. It's not working. It could really hurt him, and the team if he doesn't. It didn't work out, move on. I'm a fan of a team that booed Larry Murphy out of town. That didn't make sense to me, nor does the Huberdeau situation. Sometimes it just doesn't fit. Tyson Barrie was good in Colorado, and a complete flop in Toronto, as another recent example.

What’s been most frustrating to see with Huberdeau is the organization’s unwillingness to work towards allowing him to find his position on the team. They gave him a couple of weeks at the start of the season to try out different lines before throwing him on a line with Lucic because he fed him a couple of nice passes. As a fan it feels like the team has been stagnant after the first couple weeks of the season since nothing is changing anymore despite the team clearly increasing to struggle against teams that aren’t even trying to win.
Blame Sutter all you want Walsh. Bottom line, your client HuberDough SUCKS more than a Hoover vacuum. Sutter tried him with all 3 centres Kadri, Lindholm and even Backlund. He has no chemistry with all 3. How is that Sutters fault. And HooverDough is somehow addicted to shooting the puck. He gets a prime scoring chance in the slot and he will do a bonehead move like try to pass the puck back. Perhaps Walsh should tell his client that it’s HIS fault and stock blaming Sutter

This is a common trait with Canadian fanbases. Yes, fans are critical everywhere, but with US fanbases, when a player isn't producing, fans sincerely hope that the player can figure it out, whereas with the Canadians, as soon as a player has a bad streak, it's dogpile time and the insults come out and they can't stand the player anymore. And even if a player is better than expectations, the excitement is there only for a little while and then that player better continue to produce or the team is a dumbass if they don't trade him.
Hubby is who I've said he is. Product of the system. Don't give it all when he isn't playing with whom he wants.
I think a big reason ( apart from Bettman's conspiracy) Canadian teams havent won the cup in 30 years is the pressure from the fans. Yes the make millions but when the other 22 hours a day when you are not on the ice are pretty important as well. If you have a bad game, you know you have, you dont need to get fans screaming at you in the car to remind you. Thats just my opinion and trying to look at what the common factors are of Canadian teams
