I’ve been saying it all season and now we are close to it…. Caps need to be a full fledged fire sale. No one is off limits. The Rock the Red era is long been over. Time to acquire pieces for the future. Trade Deadline = sell..sell…sell!

Well played Carolina. Hats off played a great game. Go win a Stanley cup. Caps management really needs to call it a season after this performance. The players saying this is the game a breathe of fresh air to turn the season around and this was all they had. Time for Leonisis and GMBM to take matters into their hands the players haven't shown up 20 games now since getting the so called big boys back. And Laviolette continues to not have this team ready for any game. This should have been a game the caps would give their all from the drop of the puck. It's one thing to lose but this was just… Well should be the last straw this team is just done now. Time to be sellers come trade deadline. Near everyone on the team should be available for trade minus the obvious and any youth players that have promise. Up untill recently I had my hopes that the caps could turn things around maybe after the all-star get themselves figured out started ok with a win in Boston. Though Boston didn't play a good game wasn't so much a capitals victory there. But 0-3 since the lost to Florida really hurt that was a much needed 4 point swing. Even if they make a wildcard that'll be as far as they go. And they'll waste the opportunity to rid of dead weight most of which are free agents so easily could trade them as rentals. And given the high demand caps could easily turn 3+ first round and maybe a few 2nd and 3rd picks if they really open up the trades. Can't sign them anyway if this is all the team can do. December was a nice month but Laviolette can't figure his team was better with youth not old players. That said with Laviolette he's also unsigned. And should not be signed 2 years back to back he couldn't figure this team out. Time to move on. Can the caps beg Trotz to come back maybe have Leonisis kiss his feet. Either way I can't see Laviolette coming back 3 years only 3 wins in the playoffs needless to say 0 playoff series wins. At best win 2 games with year and knocked out first round again. 5 years after the cup run 2018. There's 0 chance for this team going forward. 10+ players should be available for trade get on the phone GMBM. Keep OV and backstrom as you say you won't trade Strome Wilson and Kuznetsov. Carlson can't be traded obviously being injured and probably not Darcy K. Again keep all youth. The rest should be on the trading block
