Mikael Backlund scored 1:28 into overtime on a power play, and the Calgary Flames ended the New York Rangers’ seven-game winning streak with a 3-2 victory at Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday.
Backlund tipped in a shot by Jonathan Huberdeau after Adam Fox was given a two-minute minor for high-sticking Dillon Dube 50 seconds into overtime.
