Some may be tired of outdoor games, but the local markets and teams absolutely love them. I was at the Kings Sharks game at Levis years ago and the whole event was outstanding fun! Looks like the the 60K Canes' fans had a great time!
Btw the fans seem like they were so close to the ice and had great sightlines – as opposed to some stadiums where you are so far back from the action?!
I think for these outdoor games they should make the rink bigger like Olympic size

These outdoor games are outstanding. This one, with the energetic college fans was electric. This gets a whole new generation of people exposed to hockey. Outstanding.
Been cheering for my hometown team for a long time. The "Decade of Suck" made a lot of people temporarily quit on this team, but we're back and we're out to prove Raleigh can be a hockey market. The fans in the lower bowl didn't sit for the entire game just like in 06. Last night proved hockey could work here and 56,961 people would agree with that. Hope to do this again sometime!
