We are such a bipolar fanbase. Whenever we lose we need to blow it up and trade everyone. When we win, suddenly we are a contender, and the team has finally turned it around.
The answer is definitely somewhere in between those. We are NOT a good team, but also we are NOT a terrible team. We are the definition of average/mediocre/mid in the league. We are not good enough to win a few playoff series, and not bad enough for Bedard.
People need to stop overreacting to one game wins or losses. Your opinion on the team should stay the same regardless. Even the worst teams in the league look like contenders for stretches of the year.
