Had no idea we had a game today, what a welcome surprise!

Can we do the shooty shooty instead of the passy passy?

so who are we thinking makes the team next year out of our prospects? snuggs looks NHL ready and could possibly make the leap, bolduc has been having a year in the Q and I’m assuming neighbours is pretty much up for good now. likely hofer as well.

It’s hard to root for your team to lose. But I had plenty of practice in my childhood with the Rams so at least I have that going for me.

How likely we package some of these stockpiled picks for some NHL ready players?

Who wants to lose this game more?

Outwardly Chief said yesterday that they are still here to win games. While as a fan in the moment that sounds good. But people who understand what’s going on know that really can’t be the 100% truth.

My expectations are that if someone has discomfort moving forward. Pulled for the rest of the game. Top players might get some days off to save on the grind. Griess gets a few more starts just in case someone wants him for a 4/5th round pick to bolster their Net. And sees one game a week if he’s on the team after the deadline.

Alright last thing I’ll post about the Logan Brown hit.

If you look at the [point of contact](https://i.imgur.com/MzvNLK7.jpg) it appears to be either at the knee or right above. People have been saying that Brown jumped to avoid the collision but that is patently false. Brown [lifts his skate](https://i.imgur.com/IHom4Qk.jpg) to try to make himself small in order to move between Englund and the net. This raised the location of Brown’s knee slightly. I think what people refuse to acknowledge is that Brown is 6’6″ (Englund is 6’3″) and so any hip check thrown on him by the average player will already appear to be “low”. Englund also has to shift his wait into the check instead of bracing himself and having his legs fully extended, this also contributes to the “lowness” of the hit.

In conclusion, you could make a case that it’s a borderline clipping call but Brown does move at nearly the last second. I don’t think you could argue that it was interference as Brown was the last puck carrier, but I’d have to re look at the interference rules

The narrative in r/hockey is that he

    1. Didn’t get hit in the knee
    2. Got hit in the knee because he jumped
3.. He didn’t actually jump and he didn’t get hit in the knee

Which all are incongruent with the reality of the situation. Brown didn’t jump but he does change his position last second and Englund’s check is at knee level.

Who do we think still gets traded? Barby and maybe Greiss? Maybe DA is able to unload Krug on someone if he can stay healthy with one of the newly acquired firsts?
