  1. Anybody tell me why Miller to Detroit is a bad idea? They need him, he needs them. I say Miller to Detroit for Zadina and a Fourth round

  2. Beauviller is a great player but just so you know canucks fans there is a reason why beauviller was traded he is fast and has skills but the guy puts up points then disappears for like 15+ games

  3. There seem to be some solid RHD options this year between 13-22 so that could be a better option than waiting around for what is going to happen next year.

  4. The best for you guys is hope and pray that pick this year conveys to 12 like it is right now and be done with it. Pray your pick with the lottery gets you all the way to the top 3 and actually not blow the picks like Gorton usually does up in MTL Hughes is just the cap guy and glorified secretary and translator

  5. When I first saw this trade, my initial thought was that it would be a lower 1st round pick and I was and still am happy with that. Beauviller has completely replaced horvats points and goal production on the team. So imo the trade is a win right there. Canucks did lose a good faceoff guy though and that's going to hurt them the most. Other than that, they have a decent prospect and a 1st for the price of losing some faceoffs essentially.

  6. There's always a team that nobody expects to completely divebomb. That's why I'd like to see the Islanders take a top 12 pick this year just on the exciting chance they noseplant and land the Canucks a top 5 pick and a lottery ticket next year.

  7. really dont see the isles being worst next year, most likely theyll have a better season. also considering how stacked this draft class is id much rather have a 13-20 pick now than next season
