  1. Soucy finally has his 10th point, which means all 19 of our skaters with at least 20 games have double digit points

There is an even crazier stat line.

No Kraken on offense gets a lot of ice time so in points / 60 min, there is an abondance of Kraken forwards above average for players above 400 minutes played. Only three players are below – Wennberg, Tanev, Schwartz.

In 5on5 this stat goes completely off – only two players below league average – Wennberg and Schwartz. Sprong is 9th beating Matthews, McKinnon, Robertson, Point etc. McCann as the 2nd Kraken player is above Kucherov, Panarin, McDavid etc and this goes on all the way down to Burakovsky in 112th (and 9th Kraken player) who is right on the heels of Necas and Rantanen, but above Laine and Meier. So the Kraken essentially have three full lines of players performing better offensively than Timo Meier – who is by chance the league leading player in shots.

Not one truly stands out on numbers due to the low ToI, but the production from the members of this team is madness. I mean, this could change how many teams around the league deploy and utilize their players and rethink their strategy towards having and fielding star players. The star players then really show themselves on the powerplay to make up for their big pay (if they aren’t good 2-way players), but it is thought for managers and coaches alike.

  3. also wennberg is up to a +1 on +/- so now we only have 2 players in the negatives, schwartz and burakovsky
