    If Poile’s awful trades (yes two) involving Ryan Hartman set him on the course to score that and start the rebuild then they’re the best trades he ever made Lol

    Was at least nice to see Hynes pissed off at the end of the game (although that probably had more to do with him realizing he just lost his job more than anything else).

    Do y’all believe me now when I say this roster ain’t it? Made worse by the fact that the coaching ain’t it either. Even a roster of 60% crap could be fun to watch, but nah. We got a coach who doesn’t realize this team doesn’t have the size or strength to play this way, a GM who thinks this is a playoff team (at least publicly), and a team who knows this ain’t it. Good times!

    edit: anyone downvoting is downright foolish at this point. we’ve seen this roster play like trash for 2 years now. if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck….just accept it.

    Someone, anyone, tell me what Hynes even does. He literally does nothing but stand on the bench staring blankly forward. He doesn’t talk with the team, Lambert and Hinote do that. I literally don’t know what he does other than collect a paycheck.

    I wasn’t renewing my season tickets already due to having a 4 year old and not being able to afford adding a third seat, but the way this team has played since the start of the season has cemented that choice. If they were competing for 1st in the division it would have been a harder decision.

    Preds are at a 13% chance to make the playoffs right now. We’re in the 4th wildcard spot (only 2 wild cards get in) and have Edmonton, Minnesota and Calgary above us. We’re out.

    Poile should be pulling the rug out soon and seeing what selling opportunities are there.

    Honestly I’d love to tank for bedard but we’re basically in year 3 of our “retool” and in hindsight it won’t look as bad as it feels right now. Glass, Askarov, Kemell, 2 picks in the 1st last year plus a top 10 farm system.

    A solid top 10 pick coupled with as many first and seconds as Poile can get for this draft and we could be back in the hunt before the Saros/Josi/Forsberg window closes.
