#WE WON IN REGULATION
I take the regulation win. To be fair the boys deserved it and did anough to win, but they fell asleep late and risked, but Hartzy’s pec saved the day. We’re 3/2/1 in the homestand which is not that good but not that bad either given we’re facing strong team with puck luck not exactly going our way. In the last 5 games the opponents’ goalies were at least solid (Vanecek and Saros) or arguably having their best game of the season (Bobrovsky, Georgiev and Oettinger), so being .583p%, which is roughly on par with our stat for the season, is good enough for me so far. Now let’s focus on the next opponent and try to close the homestand on the high note
Dean with some sweet things to say about the impact of Spurgeon’s leadership in the post game presser. Spurgeon is an under appreciated gem and we’re fortunate to have him for the price that we do.
Does this win sway GMBG’s mind any about bringing in a rental?

Well Edmonton didn’t do us any favors. They blew a 3 goal lead and 2 subsequent 2 goal leads and lost in OT.
