I am glad they’ve already made some major moves ahead of the deadline. I think it helps keep the price down and hopefully leads competitors to make last minute, panic overpayment deals closer to the deadline.

Worth bringing up – we’re likely to see Miller and Lafreniere earn about $600k in performance bonuses. If we don’t have enough cap space to cover the bonuses this year, then they come out of next year’s cap. Imagine going into this summer with $600k locked up like that. Things are already going to be difficult enough trying to squeeze Miller and Chytil in.
