We thought Dad Ovi was something, wait until we see Patriarch Ovi
On both a human and a hockey level, please take all the time you need, Ovi.
Last thing we need is Ovi to come back and go on an absolute tear and will this team to a wildcard spot so we can get dismantled by Boston or Carolina in round 1 and screw ourselves out of a good draft pick in a highly touted draft. Also don’t need the team going on a tear leading into the deadline that makes BMac think we’re good enough to do damage and hold onto expiring UFAs as our “own rentals.” We could easily go into this draft with multiple first and second round picks just by selling off pending UFAs.
Sometimes the best therapy is to just go back out there and do what you love doing.
He hasn’t been conscripted, has he?!?
I agree with whoever said that sometimes the best therapy is to get back to work. My father passed away unexpectedly when I was 17. This was 1 month after I moved to North Carolina for college. I moved into the dorm my freshman year in August, and he died in September. I came home for the funeral and didn’t want to go back. My mother made me return to school. It was the best decision I ever made. Going back really helped me heal. I’m sure my Mom would’ve preferred having me around, however, she knew that going back was the best thing for my long-term health and mental well-being.
