The Nashville Predators split what turned out to be an exciting and eventful weekend doubleheader… a 7-3 blowout win over the Florida Panthers and a 4-3 heartbreaker to the Minnesota Wild that saw a Ryan Hartman “raccoon in a trash can” goal doom the Preds. And the Locked On Predators crew couldn’t help but notice a couple of shiny bright spots, especially the play of young Tommy Novak (who should NOW go by “Thomas.”) We break down his 5-point weekend and discuss why John Hynes deserves SOME credit for his performance.

What are your Plusses and Minuses for the past week of Preds hockey?
The Preds have always had problems with the NHL's bottom feeders.

So who's up for changing the team's name to the Nashville Jekyll and Hydes? I'm just not sure which is which lol
Oh, regardless of the nature of Hartman's goal it makes the third consecutive game in which a former Pred scored against us. It staring to feel like the league is half ex-Preds at this point.
Then followed by the GM. I might keep Roman. Everyone else can be sold off. Time to completely start over.
Unless the Predators get hot and go on a winning streak, their not going to catch a wild card spot. Most of their contracts are top-heavy now which will most likely be off-season moves. 3 untouchables are Josi, Forsberg, Saros. Every one else I think david poile takes phone calls on from the deal line to next season.
