We're starting to sound like Yankees fans, we don't need to trade prospects. We are in a good spot. We do not need to win the Stanley cup this year. I don't understand why people always want a mortgage the future for a shot at the Stanley cup, not even a guarantee.
I think Canes will take Timo. I think the main issues are the extension and Fitz hesitant to give players like Mercer or Yegor. I don’t see us winning the cup so not sure it’s worth gambling trading.

The Devils aren’t mortgaging they’re reinvesting for near and longer term. Not everyone is gonna make the Devils squad. But the Devils have plenty of prospects that are going to jump in and fill in team roles
Why does this management group love Kevin bahl? What am I missing here? He's a big guy, but what does that do for his game? Not seeing something great with him.
