Connor Hellebuyck stymies Rangers with a 50-save performance!
Playing in back-to-back games, Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck stepped up for his team and turned aside 50 shots to give the Jets a 4-1 win over the New York Rangers
Rangers need Halak to step up.something wrong with Shesterkin.they will be an early exit if they donโt get goaltending.the rest of the team is excellent.too many first period goals on Shesterkin. Oh yes The Leafs will be gone in first round as usual.
Great work from Hellebuyck, but can we stop and talk about the fact that the Jets had 30 less shots on goal? That doesn't really speak well to their defense.
Rangers defense is abysmal. Igor has to stop some he hasnโt been as good but heโs getting legit 0 help. Guys are wide open in front of the net every period it seems
Hellebuyck is the perfect example of a goalie that is always in perfect position. He's not the flashiest goalie because he makes every save look so easy.
Ngl, jets are one of the most slept on teams in the league. Kyle Connor and Connor Hellebuyck are easily some of the best at what they do but they arenโt very often talked about. Not to mention Morrisey having an incredible season and it gets brushed under the rug because Karlsson is doing good as well
