  1. Lookin for stuff on Goli since we traded our wonderful James Neal for this dude……….hope he does good things like this for us..

  2. @Emoidiot187 You won't be disappointed. Take care of him for us Penguins fans, please? We will take good care of Neal and Niskanen.

  3. @Emoidiot187 It doesn't matter. We'll still take care of him as long as you take care of our boy. He has a lot to offer you guys.

  4. @Emoidiot187 So am I. Let me know what you find out. Looks like the Stars got hosed. Most Pens fans have said Goli is OK in the offensive zone but not that good defensively. He is also on the smaller side.

  5. @seattlesonlypensfan Niskanen sucks. Most Stars fans are glad to see him go. But Neal is a force. He is young, a good skater, he throws his weight around (just watch some YT clips of his fights and hits) and he can score. He will be a favorite for Pens fans as he was for Stars fans. Niskanen I couldn't care less about but I am sad to see Neal go. I was about to get a Neal jersey, glad I waited. Enjoy watching Neal!

  6. @aqinthe Can't wait to watch him play. Gogo isn't gonna put up big numbers offensively but he is gonna be a force defensively. Before he was traded, he was like a +20. He was definitely one of our better offensive defensemen. He's also a fan favorite here…Enjoy watching him also. I may root for the Stars now that Gogo is there.

  7. @seattlesonlypensfan Thanks for the info. Neal is an exciting player to watch. I will still be keeping an eye on him over in Pittsburg. The Stars need all the help they can get right now so I hope this helps. Enjoy the rest of the season.

  8. @seattlesonlypensfan This is a perfect example of why I usually wait and get older or retired players jerseys. Now days almost anybody can be traded at any point. Except for players like Crosby or Ovie anyone is fair game. Nothing like spending 200 dollars on a jersey and having the player leave a few months later.

  9. For all you Stars fans looking for info on Goose: He's a great skater and great puck mover. He can be maddeningly inconsistent at times. When at his worst, we call him Goalsagainstki. But, he has a great shot and is maturing as a power play QB. We've got a very strong D corps in Pittsburgh, which is why he could be skapegoated at times, but it was also why he was "expendable" as a trade.
He is a great player and is getting better. I'll miss him.

  10. bad mistake on the GM's fault.. for a second year player gogo was progressing fine…. what a dumb trade ! 🙁

  11. @eurydice24
I was skeptical on the trade, seeing as how we gave up a descent forward and an iffy defenseman for him. Especially at a time when Dallas badly needed healthy forwards. So far, though, I've gotta say he's shaping up to be one valuable asset to the team.

  12. @eurydice24: We don't expect him to shut down the opposition. I think Grossman, Robidas, and Skrastins, with Benn, Ott, Burish, etc. can manage that. If he can move the puck and help us on the PP, that'd be great.

  13. @Hockeyklw87 Thanks for the update. I knew Pens fans would love Neal. He has a scoring touch and can lay some big hits. I almost got his jersey, I'm glad I waited. I will still follow Neal, I also still follow Jussi Jokinen. When the trade first happened I wasn't happy. But the Stars need some serious help on Defense and on the powerplay. And they have Benn that can kind of take Neal's place. I think this trade will help both teams. I hope to see Neal tear it up in the playoffs for you guys.
